Clear disclosure

Elyra offers natural diamonds, our speciality, and laboratory-grown diamonds as a lower-cost option. Every stone is identified as natural or laboratory-grown on its product page, quote, certificate and invoice, and we never mix the two in one piece without telling you. We never sell simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite as diamonds.

Ethical sourcing

We source our natural diamonds ethically. Every invoice carries the Kimberley Process System of Warranties statement, confirming that the diamonds come from sources that comply with the Kimberley Process.

Diamond certification

Single diamonds of and above come with an independent grading report from (lab-grown: IGI), which identifies it as natural or laboratory-grown and records its shape, carat, colour, clarity and cut.
Every piece comes with an Elyra quality certificate listing the total diamond weight, colour and clarity range, metal type, purity and gross weight.
Where a lab report exists, we share the report number before you pay so you can verify it on the lab's website.

Gold hallmarking

All Elyra gold jewellery is hallmarked under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) scheme. Each piece carries:

the BIS standard mark;
the purity grade, e.g. 14K585 or 18K750;
a unique 6-digit alphanumeric HUID (Hallmark Unique Identification).

Verify it yourself: download the official BIS CARE app, choose "Verify HUID" and enter the code from your jewellery or invoice.

Platinum and silver

Platinum jewellery is PT950 (95% pure platinum) and is stamped "PT950".
Silver jewellery is 925 sterling silver (92.5% pure silver) and is stamped "925". White silver is rhodium-plated; yellow and rose silver are gold-plated.

Our quality checks

Before dispatch, every piece is checked for:

diamond details matching the certificate and invoice;
secure settings, with no loose or missing stones;
metal stamp, hallmark and weight;
finish, polish, clasps and fittings.
